It's a story about the connection between object and person, here it's the necklace and human desire.

The photographs in the magazine were inspired by the story my grandmother told me about how she always wanted to own a pearl necklace when she was young. She said that many times she stood outside looking into the pearl necklace display windows and used her own reflection to try on the pearl necklace on her neck. So I wanted to recreate that by using a picture frame and placing the necklace outside to create a scene like a person standing outside the window display looking in to try it on
